What to Change in Your Routine for the Monsoon

Humidity does not mean hydrated. Lighter textures, the same sunscreen, and a closer eye on your scalp.
Humidity makes skin feel oilier while it stays dehydrated underneath, which is why heavy creams start to feel wrong in July.
- Swap a cream moisturiser for a gel — the hydration still matters.
- Keep wearing sunscreen. Cloud cover does not stop UVA.
- Add a gentle BHA twice a week if you are getting congestion along the jaw.
- Wash hair more often, not less; a damp scalp in humidity is where dandruff starts.
Everything else can stay. There is no need to replace a routine that works for nine months of the year.
